London, Dec.10, 2020 – We are pleased to announce that VAR Capital has won the Investment Team of the Year category 2020/21 awarded by the prestigious STEP Private Client Awards.

STEP, the worldwide professional association for those advising families across generations, is highly regarded as a hallmark of excellence and quality in private client practice. All entries go through a rigorous, practitioner-led judging process to select the best in the industry.

Despite the challenges encountered because of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year saw a record number entries for the Awards, with 319 submissions received from 27 countries.

The Investment Team of the Year category had a strong set of International finalists, namely Julius Baer International, Rathbones Investment Management, Sanlam and Sarasin Partners.

The Judges said: ‘Alongside impressive quantitative data, VAR Capital demonstrated their expertise and focus with a clear and concise submission that covers everything from their client on-boarding, to their ability to explore investment scenarios with clients, and their stable of resources.’
