Simon has over 15 years of experience managing concentrated equity portfolios. Before joining VAR, he was a fund manager in the Global Equity Income team at Legal & General Investment management, where the portfolio was managed with a strict value philosophy and delivered 5.7% annualised outperformance. Prior to LGIM, he was a portfolio manager at Ennismore Fund Management, running a long/short portfolio that delivered an annualised return of 14.0% over a decade. He has an MSci in Mathematical Physics from the University of Nottingham and is a CFA charter holder.
