VAR Capital are pleased to announce that The Financial Times have listed us as one of the 1000 fastest growing companies in Europe across all sectors. The ranking, compiled with Statista, a research company, lists the European companies that achieved the highest compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in revenue between 2017 and 2020. VAR Capital were ranked as 480th in the list, having generated a CAGR of 62.6% over the period, comfortably exceeding the threshold CAGR of 36.5%.

Out of the 1000 companies listed by The Financial Times, there were 28 within the Financial Services sector. Only 15 of these 28 companies are based in the United Kingdom, VAR Capital being one of them.

The minimum criteria for inclusion on the list was as follows:

• Revenue of at least €100,000 generated in 2017
• Revenue of at least €1.5m generated in 2020
• An independent company
• Revenue growth between 2017 and 2020 that was primarily organic
• If listed on a stock exchange, a share price that had not fallen by 50 per cent or more since 2019
